We've been going through some personal stuff that I want to write about - I guess to kind of get some clarity for myself over. I am hoping that by putting my thoughts out there, I will be able to work through this stuff. I also hope that we will be able to share some good news along the way!

The biggest and most painful issue my husband (P) and I have is our struggle to start a family. We got married in late 2011 and have been trying to start a family ever since. We haven't been able to fall pregnant yet, and we don't know what is causing it for sure, but this leads me to my other reason for starting this blog.
Both P and I are considered 'morbidly obese' and this could be causing our infertility. Either way, we need to get it under control. We can't get much (if any) treatment for infertility being the size we are, but we want to be fit and healthy first for any family that we are eventually blessed with.
I'm having gastric band (lap band) surgery, so I want to be able to keep a record of that journey here as well. Also, my husband is on the public waiting list to have gastric sleeve surgery. I'm sure I will blog about that experience as well.

So you'll find that the topics of the posts will change depending on how I'm feeling or what I'm doing at a certain point in time.
